"At the beginning of the project we just used whatsapp because it's the easiest app we have to communicate with each other: it's really fast!
In the second part I used my Canon camera to record all the video while the backstage videos where made by Sara, Elisa and Iman with the Ipad. To edit the videos I used Imovie. I have it on the Ipad but I also used Movie Maker which is on all Windows computers. 
I'm really satisfied with my work because it was the first and I'm looking forward to making a new video."

Making a book trailer is another good way to develop both language but also digital skills for example I've learnt to share links on Whatsapp, to use a USB pen and to download music from Youtube.
I was responsible for the sound effects and music. It was an important role because I had to search creepy but not too long sounds: I think booktrailers  should be short because they only introduce the story, the genre and an idea of the setting. 
The Canterville Ghost is a creepy and sad story set in England. It also improved our English because at first it was a bit difficult to discuss all our ideas in English but then we managed it quite well.

" I and other people downloaded some creepy sounds for our book trailer and during the lesson we decided together the best material. I also played the role of Virginia who is Mr Otis's daughter because I've got blonde hair and blue eyes like her. This student product has been used with other classes as curricular material to generate interest in reading and book trailers.
