From Jessie: 1) What made you decide to select the activities for Station 1 and 2? 2) How do they enhance each other? 3) Was it based on some areas for growth as your marked the pps’ previous work? 4) What dispositions did the pps adopt? It's really heartening that we can hear their thinking as they develop their model ;)

I think it's great that you use this Seesaw app to hear how they solve the questions. May I ask, after viewing their question, what would you do after that especially to those who don't express the way they get their answers and also those who get right.

The ICT tool assisted those who are usually shy in class to express themselves through the usage of the app.

Perhaps you can remind them that they can edit their recordings when they are at home also. This may make them more conscious and for those who are still shy in recording their voice, they may try it out when they are not near their friends.

Were there any challenges that you faced when using the ICT tool?

From Amy.

Really important for them to make their thinking visible. If not writing or drawing model, then by watching them do it in class by verbalising. Only then can we tell which part of their thinking we need to correct.

Great effort to use seesaw to capture your pupils' thinking. How do you address the pupils misconception using the fraction method in changing to the same denominators? This is a common misconception to think that the whole is the same.

Thank you for sharing. Creating word problems allow students to think through carefully not just the phrasing but the numbers used must be reasonable and also the final answers. Using SeeSaw to see their step-by-step explanation is a great way to sieve out any misconception in any of the step.
