For example, the British have spread their ideas and customs through colonialism, a type of imperialism in which people move into and settle the land of another country, like when drinking tea originated, it soon became the worlds second most consumed beverage besides water. The British spread tea to all of the new places they discovered, altering the geopolitical boundaries of places they had been too. Next, a multinational state, meaning it has many different nations in it. For example, when europe colonized Africa,  they drew borders and did not realize they were pushing multiple cultures together leaving behind multinational states. The Europeans had taken many resources which created many bad relationships throughout the state. Lastly nation states have affected todays borders. Ghana was originally stateless, but wanted their independence and to have their own land. Ghana soon became a nation state creating their own borders and land. By creating borders, they were affecting the overall political geography of the world.

The first stage in Rostow's model of economic growth is traditional which no country is entirely today, the next stage is pre-conditions for take off which is LDC, primary countries, next stage 3 is the take off stage representing NIC's with secondary activities. Stage 4 is the drive to maturity which shoes a shift in development to MDC countries, and lastly stage 5 is the high mass consumption stage which has very high level economic activities.
B. A nation in the second stage of Rostow's model is probably a less developed country that mostly partakes in primary activities. The third stage consists of newly industrialized countries where people start to move to cities to find jobs. The nation in the second stage can move to the third stage by becoming more developed and industrialized and to start moving away from agriculture practices to focus on manufacturing jobs.
C. One part of Wallerstein's world system theory is the action of exploitation between periphery and semi-periphery countries. Semi-periphery countries are gaining resources and supplies from periphery countries with little cost then making a greater profit off of it. These periphery countries have to send resources to the semi-periphery countries making it very difficult for less developed countries to leave this stage.
D. In Wallerstein's model, it suggests that the outer layers are all benefiting the inner countries, while the most inner country is getting most economic gain.
