I personally really liked this ident as the concept was very simple but executed nicely. I like the variety of sizes of cannons used and fit well with the New Year theme. The choice of colour too helped make the confetti stand out and create an excitement feel of celebration.

One of my favourite idents from the MTV series is this simple ident where clouds form onto the type. Even though it was in the 80's, I do not think the colours palettes and textures use match very well but this definitely helps the ident remain eye-catching and easily recognisable. I also really enjoyed the sound in the back, it made the ident very original and creative as it wasn't a sound you would usually hear.

My second favourite ident from the MTV series is the 4th July special. I like how they used the logo and pretended it was a person sunbathing, it adds a bit of comedy. I also liked the fireworks exploding in the background along with their sound effects. I felt like the camera angle too, as it slowly draws itself to the logo made it a little bit dramatic and really set the set design which I like.

His work draws inspiration from his culture and the local communities that surround him, expressed using a variety of mediums such as illustration, photography, sculpture, and poetry. King believes that creativity isn't all about what you make but how you see and how you can use that understanding to inspire you to breathe. Within ITV Creates, his King's sculpture shows. "the duality of who I am being defined by what I look like rather than who I am based on my experiences." He wanted to learn and explain his culture within his work, whislt learning how to create his work from 2D to 3D.

This stop motion animation was created with clay consisting of 2500 still pictures. It was shot with a Canon EOS 600D and animated in Dragonframe. Edited in Photoshop and Sony Vegas Pro 14. All sound effects recorded inside a small pillow fort. I really liked it because it had an juxtaposition approach as the shapes formed with the clay did not make sense nor were two contradicting objects. It was also very entertaining and funny to watch. The sound effects also worked extremely well as it wasnt too OTT and fit right with the objects.

Although this was a short group project I really enjoyed it. I had the opportunity to meet new people and have the chance to speak to Anna Lomax herself. Within the group we directed ourselves to editor, art director and video producer. Due to a short amount of time and some technical difficulties I was the video producer and editor. I took photos on my iPhone 11, using my study lamps as a tripod. It came to roughly 300 images. I created the set using my desk table and finding any props around my house. I finally edited it on an app called 'Splice' on my phone.

The idea stemmed from all group members being late to the workshop, we had just woken up and had not had our morning brew yet. We thought we could create an unpredictable morning brew from a student eye and aim to make it funny. This was also all our first time creating a stop motion.
