Dear diary,

Today the day was quite a mess, and I was really nervous and excited to meet my exchange partner.

First everything was as perfectly fine but than my partner wrote me that in her train was smoke and it smelled like something was burning, so we got really worried. They had to stop for around an hour and an hour later again. The train came 80 minutes late.

But when we met each other it was chilled. In my inside I was so nervous but the girls were really nice. I have two girls hosting at my place, Gabriela and Julia.

At first we didn’t knew what to talk about but after we found a theme everything got easier.

We had to take the bus and while we were waiting there were a lot creepy men that wanted to talk to us and wanted money from us. The girls were quite surprised and a little bit scared because of the amount of how many talked to us.

When we arrived at home I showed them everything and after that we got to eat. My mom made Manti it’s a russian dish and it was really delicious. After we ate we had tee and coffee with cake.

When we finished we got in my Tommy and talked for hours about the schools our friends and allot more.

At 11 pm we got ready for bed and went to sleep.

The day was really exciting and I hope the week will go smoothly.

We were so excited but, at the same time, so nervous. We were finally going to Berlin! but we  didn't know how was going to be the experience.

First of all, at 1:05 p.m, we all met  in the Girona's train station and we took a train to Barcelona. Then, we took a flight from Barcelona to Berlin.

We arrive at 8 p.m, more or less, and we met with our host families. It was a very cute welcoming.

Finally, we all went to our homes, we settled there, families explained us a little bit all and we went to sleep.

The adventure begins!

On the way to the airport I was very excited to see my exchange students (Xenia and Arnau). When we arrived my father dropped me off and went to find a parking spot.

Inside I met up with my friends and we waited together for the exchange students who were still waiting for their luggage.

We were all very excited and nervous.

When the exchange students arrived we greeted them and walked to the parking lot with a few other people where my father picked us up. The car ride was quiet and relaxed. When we arrived home I introduced them to my family and showed them around the house. Afterwards we had something to eat and played a few games with the VR headset. Then we went to bed as it was getting late.

That was my first day and I look forward to more fun days ahead.

At the first workshop, they made their own cosmetics. The others were about woodworking, upcycling and the life cycle of mobile phones. You can see the results of the workshops in the photos. In the afternoon we went to the Futurium and then to the Ku’ Damm.

We all met at 8:30 at the train station and we were separated in two groups, one group went to the technology museum and the other to a workshop for sustainability.

Everyone who did the sustainability workshop had to create their own key holder the way they want it.

Some with their names on it and some with Berlin as a memory, like the picture above.

After that we went to Peter Pan again and ate together, talked and had fun.

We met the other group at the train station, took our partners and went home.

My family, my partner and I got ready for the gala night in the school.

We were welcomed by many teachers and the other students, with music and food.

After that, we all did a survey about what we liked about the exchange and what not.

A lot of people sang, danced and had fun and slowly began to leave, because we had to wake up early.

Today at 10:00, we all met at huge german school, where we were for the first time. We were welcomed warm by school headmistress and the mayor of Berlin Spandau. Then we had a tour of the school in international teams, i was toured in polish by polish girl living in Berlin, it was a nice surpirse. On lunch we had a pasta with tomato sauce, which is not my favourite, but this one was good. After the lunch we were showing presentations about our countries, cities and sustainable school initiatives. I was really stressed, but i think i coped well. Then we had team building activities in the gym. I was in the Brandenburg Tor team and we won whole game!

The rest of the day, we spend at home, eating, talking and having fun.
