This plan was created for a lesson. The Secondary 4th class students attending a “Liceo Scientifico” focused on linguistic aspects and on the Chemistry content of an English text about the Mendeleev’s Periodic Table . They read and discussed it in groups. The text was linguistically analysed and the students reflected on lexicons and genres. Using some questions as scaffolding, they replied, created a concept map and produced a comprehensible output. They worked in groups at school and online at home using the ICT. This activity was presented during the TeachMeet Embracing Language Diversity in Your Classroom (Teachers Academy by School Education Gateway).
