         <description><![CDATA[<div>Section 9 of the Care Act 2014 Assessment of Needs.<br><br>Don is eligible for an assessment because:<br><br>Hygiene needs:<br>- He needs help to bathe and get dressed.&nbsp;<br><br>Nutrition:<br>- Don drinks wine at dinner every night.<br>- He has diabetes and does not consume a healthy diet.<br><br>Using the home safely:<br>- Don has poor eyesight<br><br><br>Madge is eligible for an assessment of her care and support needs under Section 9 of the Care Act 2014 because:<br><br>Using the home safely:<br><br>- Madge struggles to get around the home<br>- She struggles with using the garden due to her ill health.&nbsp;<br><br>Developing and maintaining relationship:<br>- Both Don and Madge struggle to maintain relationships due to isolation.<br><br>Madge is eligible for a carers assessment in her right under Section 9 and 10.&nbsp;<br><br><br>Madge and Don will need to complete a financial assessment due to their assets being above £23,250</div>]]></description>
