In my current work right, it is very easy for kids to get bored easily because it can get repetitive at times. Therefore, I have learned to associate my classroom as a room "full of toys" so they can be motivated to join my sessions as we do our speech sessions (play-based), instead of hating it.

One of my ways to condition my students is that whenever they start talking aloud, I will just keep quiet and when they see me quiet and look at them, they will just keep quiet as well.

In my class, 4 claps means "are you ready?". When they hear the 4 claps, they automatically respond, "yes, I am!" with actions to indicate that they know. But it does not necessarily mean they are ready. They just know or they are conditioned to do the response, though most of them know that they should be focused in class when they hear that.
