I think that social media is a good thing because it is able to bring the world together over our devices. Social media has changed globalization in a major way. Although, social media isn't always good. Vietnam is still recovering from the Vietnam war, but after an economic boom are back on their feet. The United Kingdom is leaving the European Union in a move called the BREXIT. The British fishing industry is going to suffer because they are going to tax their exports. This episode had lots to do with globalization because it talked about the different leaders. It is important that leaders of other countries meet with each other to communicate to keep the countries at peace. Also, they talked about problems around the world like the UK. They also talked about how the British Fishing industry will suffer because they are being taxed and not as many people would be willing to pay. I think that free trade is good for the economy. King Jong Um and Trump are meeting for their second summit. Both sides have taken steps to reduce tension with each other. They are working towards denuclearization and building trust, although neither has happened so they hope to make progress at this summit. The episode also talks about how the airline engines keep you in the air. I think that it is very important for these two leaders to meet. This will help keep the peace of globalization. Water has become a luxury in Venezuela. To add to the issue of power change the country is in a water shortage. People are looking for water everywhere, even if it's not clean. In Nebraska harsh wethers brought lots of snow, which was followed by warm air which melted the snow and caused lots of flooding. We were not personally affected by any of the things that happened but many other people were. In hard times like these, it is good that people have other places to go and can travel around the world. In 2014 ISIS was unstoppable but has now disappeared. Although they said that they could come back stronger, or with a different name. They mention organizations that have been able to help people around the world like giving beds and education. This episode shows how important it is to help people around the world. Not everyone is as lucky as you and you need to be able to share things that you have that others might not. The goals are to reduce air pollution and heavy traffic. Planes play a large part in globalization if planes cant support our needs it affects everyone around the world. Russia, China, and Cuba all support the current president. Cas Mastropaulo's was a child slave and came from a slave market. He was adopted by Americans and now he has a great life. The EU wants to take away internet freedom by updating copyright rule. The internet allows us to connect and interact with others around the world. Putting copy right rules on things will make the internet more secure​ and safer. By 2050 there will be 9 million more people which means we need to produce 70% more food. 5G farming is made to help farmers produce more food. It interesting how Venezuela is having lot of problems getting power and water all due to politics. The US border and security are saying that they are creating fear so that there is less migration. Phone companies are starting to test out 5g phones. It makes it much faster and connects with even more things. 5g would mean there needs to be much more phone towers, meaning it could cost 300 billion dollars for the US. The Us border "crisis" is meant to stop more immigrants from coming into the US but people at the border are saying it's not as bad as it seems.
