Before they were allowed to fight in the war they were still doing labor.
-Some slaves fled during the war, some were forced to join the war, and some willingly joined the war.
-Slaves were promised their freedom if they fought in the war, the Britain and the colonists allowed slaves to join their armies. thousands of slaves joined both armies during the war.
-Slaves and colonists fought beside each other and slaves and the British fought beside each other. Some slaves fled and other stayed doing labor.
-A few examples of the battles slaves helped fight was the battle of Lexington and bunker hill.

-The six nations of the Indigenous people ended their many, many years of peace when sided with the Colonists, while all the others fought with the British.
-Colonel Akiatonharónkwen was the highest-ranking Indigenous person fighting with the colonists.
-Lots of people from the Indigenous tripe Lenape were forced to leave their homes after a treaty called The Walking Purchase was signed.
-Not all were forced out though, some Indigenous women were then made the wives of Colonists.
