1. I don't think other students admire Chad, I think they were scared of him and especially when he isolated and gave Marshall a hard time, I think everyone saw how Marshall's grades and participation was lowering so they probably thought that it was Chad making him feel uncomfortable. Which made them want to be Chad's servants and do everything Chad says so he wouldn't do it to them.

2.
