This article on Easter Island is very interesting. I learned things I never knew and ever question I had was answered within his article. It explain the first settlers there, how the Moai were built. It also talked about the people who presently live there. There is surprisingly 2,000 people that live there. Even though thats not that many people, it is definitely a lot for an island with no other surrounding islands or land. I feel it would be interesting to live there.

The statues ,or Moai, aren't actually just heads. They do have "bodies" but they are disproportional and are buried under the ground.
