Machine built by Rodney Copperbottom. It has four kitchen spoons on its head, which it uses like the blades of a helicopter to fly. Its long head is protected by a large cup, with its two eyes peeking out from underneath. The way he reacts off the bat in the movie makes him one of the most loved characters in the film. I respect Rodney's choice, giving him the ability to fly and lift heavy weight. Phineas T. Ratchet is the secondary antagonist of Robots. He is Rodney Copperbottom’s enemy and Madame Gasket's son and henchman. Ratchet is a ruthless corporate social climber, who takes charge of Bigweld Industries after Bigweld leaves and goes into hiding. I hate Ratchet. He is extremely arrogant, greedy, self-centered, uncaring, and materialistic because he decides to stop making spare parts so that older, rusty robots would be forced to either buy upgrades or become "outmodes" and get taken away to his mother's Chop Shop. This was partly because he hates rusty robots.

If i could ask a question it would be why didn't ratchet get rid of his mother when he had the power over the business in the first place like make a missile then "BANG" shes gone. One more question i have is why consume metals when they can just plug themselves in like an outlet on there arm or something.

In the beginning I thought that Herb Copperbottom was the main character but that was just Rodney's father. Watching the stages of Rodney grow up and get hammy downs from almost feels exactly like my child hood because i had a lot of hammy downs as well.
