This is because pop songs express narratives from a different prospective to novels and films. The reasons for different narrative structures are the following; 
1. As the video is orientated around the song, songs don't often follow the structure of normality-problem-resolution
2. The music video will use the singer both as the narrator and as character 
3. It also allows the viewer to understand the genre, from specific rhymes and the repetition of parts. The video is most likely to be played on TV or the song played on radio.

2. Amplification. This is where the videos create a new meaning that doesn't contradict with the lyrics but adds meaning
3. Disjuncture. This is where there's little connection between the lyric and video or the video even contradicts the lyric. She expresses how no matter what he does she still ends up going back to him.
