The 20's was the time directly after the war, so people had reason to celebrate. They had new clothes, new jewels, new cars, cities, and more. But behind that facade, there were protests, strikes and many revolts. Police went on strikes, allowing criminals to surface. People tried to make things better, but it only worsened the violence and strikes.
Back then, people wanted to have cars, as they do today. They all want the new stuff, the new clothes, as they do today. They were obsessed with their cars, even if it meant foreclosure or starvation.

In the 1920's there were few people who were incapable of adapting to the developing America. Democracy was advancing and becoming safer. The nation attempted to lead itself independenttly after dening the League of Nations. Though they tried to accomplish some, workers were given bad circumstances, and tried to progress better conditions and went on strike to acheive it. There were many existing conflict politically and fear consumed everyone. Radicals began to rise, placing bombs and causing terror. The KKK, a terrorist group, began spreading their toxic ideas and planning attacks and frightened many who were vulnerable minorities. There was so much change and altering of law that America neaded to be restored. The constsnt change wore out the political figures and they wished to heal what the US had become. after the excitement and horror, America entered an era of "normalcy." They had somewhat fixed the chaos that took place before. The automobile industry completely flourished, and the success increased greatly. The generations of younger adults and children wanted to experience all the excitement and travel. The tax issue grew as America moved forward. Neither side seemed more corret than the other. Scandals were deafening among the government, and the petty conflict became serious. America's political figures struggled to maintain a level nation. More inventions furthered the modern form of the country. People were reaching to acheive fortune and such. As the modern America was flourishing, the agricultural industry collapsed. Their riches were nonexistent and their business seemed unecessary. The many disturbances incited radicals, including the infamous Adolf Hitler. Science at this time was nearly overthrown by religious beliefs, evolution degraded and denied. In a an abrupt change, America became more wealthy and their development incresed.

Underneath the vast history and many events, we can find similarities within. America is continuously in conflict and has multiple issues. The KK has risen again, in a great unfortunate "movement" spreding their racist and white supremacist ideas as they continue. There are still fights over the school systems and what the students are exposed to, reigion becoming tangled in scientific reasoning. Religious beliefs are still entagled in the education of kids. Less invention, however, seem relevant, and few of them are furthering America. Many of them seem unecessary, unlike the car, or the vaccuum. Our agricultural businees and/or industry is now completely dissapeared. Xenophobia is still present as we continue on, and we can only wish for the best of what may come.

The differences are that there are more rights for women, colored people, immigrants, and more. Also, our clothing/fashion is more updated now and it isn't the same as the 1920s. Music has also changed since then. Technology is way more advanced and better than the 1920s.

The economy was very different in the sense that the money in the 1920's are worth less then now. Also the clothing choices were really different compared to ours. There was the ending of the War in 1920's that the US was included in and many died, but for a while now we haven't had any wars or any major attacks. Similarities- people who dont accept things the way it is, there was struggle, people were not payed enough, the US threatening other countries, bombers, Deportation, chaos, and protests were on high point. Dumb president things such as "return to normalcy" "happiness here than any other country."

The similarities between the 1920s and today is that women could vote. Another similarity is that people still fight for their countries.

The differences were that there are nearly not as many wars as there was back then. Also There was more unsolved crimes back then and less of a police

There were many differences between today and 1920 were major, some examples were, extremes in the wage gap. There was an enormous amount of strikes at steel mills. Tons of Hysteria covered the nation and Cars were just being introduced.

SIMILARITIES- though there were more KKK groups then, there are still smaller groups now, there are growing industries, new cultures, people who aren't open to change and dislike people who have different opinions or views than them, women have more rights in general

DIFFERENCES- economy in the 1920's was different, women couldn't vote then, more people are accepting now, technology is more advanced
