From this primary source, it is a viable assumption that the Mongols were a force of immense power, as they had effectively sieged Baghdad before even stepping foot in the city. And of these victims of their ruthless conquests was Baghdad, a remarkable city that proudly displayed the ambitions and culture of Islam to a unbelievable degree. What was a hub for knowledge now lay in ruins.  

 With their horrifying reputation, they had effectively seized Baghdad before even entering into the capitol itself, they turned the place to ruin, destroying everything and everyone in sight.

 In the aftermath, they continued to rule our sacred land and even adopted our culture. They were everything politically, socially, and culturally we stood against, yet they assimilated into our lifestyle despite their unsurmountable damage on our Islamic history.
