If we want to reach out more to other people, we should be with them stay with them suffer with them, be confused with them, experience life with them to have conversations like this. We should learn from them as well. Like the emmaus story when the disciples recognized Jesus, they went out back to jerusalem immediately. If we want other people to share in our mission, they should recognize Jesus through our presence. Compassionate listening is important. We should accompany them in the transition through their life and part in the church.

The Holy Spirit guides the church always even this new generation. The church has underwent changes but God stayed the same (example of St Paul and tthe early christians were afraid of this change). We must not be scared of the new generations doing something new and different that we may not understand. But we must create a space for the young to display their faith.

Since time is changing, maybe we can change our way or manner of evangelizing. Let us think of our of the box things or approach that is not to churchy.

All these are not just a list of DO’s of a responsible Christian, but a call and challenge to us all. Hence, we are just assistants of this great mission, and we still need the power and help of the great protagonist of this mission, the Holy Spirit.

In the preparation for the 2033 Great Jubilee, we are challenged to indulge the young what is happening in their environment, they should be aware in the preparation for the great jubilee. The problem: it is hard to capture the youth, one thing we could do as members of the different ministries is to be a listener. Listening without judgement, sometimes the young people do not open up because they are being judged easily. The church should be a welcoming environment, journeying with the people from all walks of life. We gain a deeper insight in their journey contemplate on our actions to draw people in the ministry.

Start with what we have, everybody should feel that they have a place in the church, the talent of each one be developed without forgetting that everything comes from God.

We are called to open the doors of the church, that this will become a place where everybody especially the youth could enjoy things and creating things.

We are committed and dedicated but there are still barriers into fulfilling our mission: the external factors such as government regulations, outlived traditional ways and disinformation. We are pressed by the different commitments, requirements and the other many things that we are currently doing that we tend to forget the details and the direction as to where we intend to go. Moreover, capabilities are judged because of age and demographics. It adds to the worsening statistics of church goers which probably reflects the declining statistics of the baptized with basic catechism and formation.

BUT THERE IS STILL HOPE: TO MOVE FORWARD, WE HAVE TO FORM THE GENERATION OF THE YOUNG.

Despite all that was mentioned, we are able to come up with our own best practices on how to face the challenges brought about by the present generation to the evangelization. Most importantly, the family, as the basic unit of Chistian Communities, must be the strongest foundation. It is the parents' obligation to share the faith with their children.

With the digital world, missionaries SHOULD really consider evangelization via social media, such as tiktok and facebook because the generation we are trying to save has already swarmed the platform. We must educate people in truth and think of creative ways (need not be extraordinary) on how we are able to touch the hearts of the young.

In the end, the little things still matter. Missionaries should be the best reflection of what they preach. Missionaries must be the best example of commitment, of resilience, dedication and humility. Inputs are important but the experience in the synodal journey would impact the most. How have we treated the young? Have we empowered them much? Have they truly experienced Jesus — whom we try to bring, in and with us?

Let us protect the interest and welfare of the youth. The more matured generation should be more welcoming to inter-generational connections. Again, the best impact is from what is experienced, how it left an imprint to the soul and how it connected to the heart.
