         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Terengganu State Public Library is <strong>under the government of Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Terengganu (PPAT)</strong> which was established on <strong>6 July 1974.</strong></li><li>PPAT started its service on <strong>15 September 1979</strong> and began setting up several other branches which is Besut, Kemaman, Hulu Terengganu, Dunguh, Marang, Setiu and Pekan Kerteh and also<strong> Terengganu State Public Library.&nbsp;</strong></li><li>The <strong>head</strong> <strong>director</strong> of this library is <strong>Norliza binti Ismail.</strong></li><li>Terengganu State Public Library located at <strong>Kuala Terengganu</strong>.</li><li>This library <strong>open every day</strong> except on <strong>Friday</strong>.</li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This program is named as <strong>Library For Fun 2021</strong> and handled by the staff at the <strong>Terengganu State Public Library, Kuala Terengganu</strong>. The purpose of this program is <strong>to give students awareness</strong> that the library is not only for reading books, but also for finding information and having fun together. <br><br>In this program, the students will participate in the activities that have been provided by us which is<strong> Library de Tour</strong>, <strong>Talk Session: Self Discipline For The Future, Movie Screening:</strong> <strong>Popcorn Time</strong> and <strong>Games: Treasure Hunt</strong>. All the activity that we make is suitable for students that we invited from SMK Sultan Sulaiman. They need to know what is in this library and what they can do in this library. Library is not only for finding information but also can enjoy reading books with good environment. </div>]]></description>

         <title>ACTIVITY 1: TALK SESSION </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first activity they going to had is a talk session about “Self-Discipline for The Future” conducted by two instructors, Ms. Amira Syamimi and Ms. Yasmin Faqihah and it will be held in Dewan Theater in the llibrary. The purpose of having a talk session regarding the topic is because we think they are Form 3 and Form 5 students who probably will continue their study after this. So, they must have something to boost their spirit and built their self-discipline. It is crucial to build self-discipline from the secondary school because if one do not train themselves to be discipline, they are going to face a difficulty in managing their daily life routine in the future. There are some effects if someone take it easy on self-discipline, some of the effect are, they will slowly become a lazy person, they will keep procrastinating their works, not managing their time well and perhaps day by day it will turn to be a mess because it might seem just a small thing but remember, how many employees are losing their jobs because of poor time management? How many people getting fired because of late submission on their task? Thus, if we can manage it now then our self will be effected in the future. </div><div>            </div><div>            In addition, during the talk session we are going to play a short motivational video which related to the topic. The purpose is for them to learn and gain something beneficial from the video on self-discipline. Furthermore, we will have a Quiz with them to make it more happening and attract their attention at the same time. Follow by a ‘Q&amp;A’ session for them to ask any question in their head if they have at the end of the talk. In short, this talk session delivered in a relaxed manner because we understand they just finished their examination. So, we just want them to enjoy and give them a warm up before entering a real life after this.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>ACTIVITY 2: LIBRARY TOUR </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Second activity after a talk session is a library tour or we named it a ‘”Library de Tour” activity. The purpose of it is to bring the students around the library and also to let them know the department and facilities that have been provided by the library for public. As we can see there are a lot of Training Room, Discussion Room, Meeting Room, Multimedia Training Room, Theater Hall, Language Lab and Seminar Room which available for anyone who are seeking for space to make any event or program, they can just simply rent the space. Other than that, we want to have a hands on session to teach them about Open Public Access Catalog (OPAQ), how to locate the materials by using OPAQ probably it held in Multimedia Training Room. Since the library have a number of online apps and the database also they have E-Library. So we are going to explore all this with them. Thus, for the students gain new knowledge on how to retrieving the right information from authentic resources or platform. Some of their online apps such as Ookbee Buffet, Zinio, Alkem, GVRL, and several databases like EBSCO Host, Emerald, Bernama Library, and more. In addition, we will guide them on how to get the correct article or material from online database base on the subject. <br><br></div><div>            The implementation of methods for this activity will be an orientation in the library and a hands on about OPAQ. Library orientation is done as what we have state earlier, to introduce the library to students and let them to experience it by themselves. Secondly, the hands on where every student will figure out how to navigate the material in library by using OPAQ system. It is a basic thing for them to learn so that next time when they visit any library, they already know how to use it. At least they know to retrieve the material using either a subject, title, or name of the author. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>ACTIVITY 3: MOVIE TIME!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After they take a break for Zohor prayer and lunch, the students are going to watch Ejen Ali The Movie which it consume approximately 2 hours in Theater Hall. However, the students will be separate into two groups whereby Form 3 students are going to watch the movie first while another group of Form 4 will go for Games session. So, 50 students from each group will divided into four groups where each group has 12 students. The reason why we separate them is because it could be a bit crowded for all of them during the games session. Besides, other reason is because we have limited staff to handle the students during the games session. </div><div>               Ejen Ali The Movie have been chosen to play for the activity because from our opinion, this movie lots of moral story which they can learn from the movie. Other than that, the movie shows a number of good deeds and positive value which they can learn and practice in real life. For example, it tells us to respect other people, teamwork between teammates, leadership, tolerance and other. In addition, at the end of this program on closing ceremony, we will choose any student to share with us what he or she have gain from the program that we had. <br>               Regardless of the moral story of the movie, any new knowledge they got or anything that they want to share. This will help them to reflect back what they have got through this program and we also can know either the objective of this program has been achieves or not. Besides, we put this activity in the middle of the program between library tour and games is because we give a chance for them to chill out and enjoy the time in library. The methods that used for this activity is we going to open the movie from Netflix and a projector to display the movie. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>ACTIVITY 4: GAMES</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Our last activity for the program is a games session! During this session all they need to do is follow the instruction given by the instructor and finish the game as fast as they can. The game they will had is a treasure hunt whereby there are five check point in the library. In order, to complete the games, they need to unlock the answer in every check point. Each check point represents a subject. <br>             First check point is Bahasa Melayu subject, so they need to guess a few proverb correctly. Second check point is English where it requires them to play a Sahiba game – a crossword board game. Thirdly, is Mathematic, for sure in this check point they must solve some mathematics question which cover the topic they have learnt.  Next check point is some sort of scientific question which testing their level of understanding of science. Last one is a bonus check point that requires them to dance a challenge they got from the clue. Any group who successfully accomplish all the check points in the shortest time will win the game. </div><div>            The methods for this game session we only need to prepare an A4 paper for the students, Sahibba board games, calculators, marker and a radio. All of this wiil be used in the check points. We will deliver a short and spontaneous briefing before the games begin and with the time given they must complete all tasks. The winners form each form 3 and form 4 will receive the rewards on closing ceremony. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>               In conclusion, we hope that the program we want to run can achieve the proper objectives as we planned. This program is implemented to open up opportunities for students to develop skills and attitudes that will motivate them, especially for young people to get very useful skills to use all the facilities that are provided in the library. As we all know, nowadays the presence of libraries is increasingly considered non-existent because they can get information only using the smartphones they have and they do not have to go to the library to get information. So with the implementation of this program, we want to instill enthusiasm in young people so that they will love the culture of reading and no longer just expect gadgets to get information because the information on the internet is not necessarily authentic and accurate. In addition, this activity is also implemented because we want to allow students to relieve the stress they face. <br>               As students, they certainly face a stressful situation in going through school hours full of challenges. Therefore, in this program we have planned some fun activities for students. The activities we organize not only allow students to relieve stress but they can also learn while playing. We hold this program not only to encourage student to come to the library but also the competition we organize can educate them to strive for success by competing healthily. We have planned as best we can to implement this program. We have reviewed some of the important aspects to further our efforts for providing the best program to the participants. Finally, we hope that this event can be implemented successfully and without any interruptions and problems.</div>]]></description>
