This is our School Improvement Plan for the 24-25 school year. Our district focuses on determining the root cause of our data and creating action plans. Our Guiding Coalition team have generated action plans that can be implemented by all staff members. Some of these action steps are little action steps that will go a long way.

We have GVC leadership teams that focus on the advancement of student growth and learning by prioritizing and aligning learning standards in different content areas. I led a Spanish Language Arts GVC for our building. We focused on identifying the priority standards and aligning them with our foundational resource.

The School of Dual Language has a different schedule then other elementary schools due to our language and content allocation. I created a schedule for each grade level to follow to ensure that we follow the pacing calendars developed by our grade level GVCs.

I collaborated with our one of our Teaching and Learning Coordinators to create a schedule for our new foundational resource that would match our content and language allocation. I met with each PLC to support the implementation of this schedule.

In the beginning of the school year our Multilingual Coordinator resigned and I was asked to take on many of those different tasks. One of my major tasks was the administration of ACCESS for ELLs. I ran PLCs with our ML teachers and supported principals through the assessment.

Once I completed my analysis and research I worked with a group of teachers to restructure our Dual Language Program. When I was a dual language classroom teacher, I was the leader of our Dual Language PLCs. I was in charge of organizing and leading our PLC meetings. One of the struggles of being a dual language teacher in my last school district was we had to rotate schools every two years and we rarely had time to work together. I created this documentation to support vertical alignment between our grade levels.

Prior to Covid, I was Seesaw Ambassador and help Professional Development to support the implementation of technology. Since I was well versed in Seesaw and other digital platforms, I was asked to lead professional developments on how to utilize Seesaw and screencast.

This is one of data bases that we use to collect information and analysis the growth of students in reading and math. We meet wtih our intervention team weekly to discuss progress of students and discuss instructional practices. We meet on a 6-8 week cycle with our grade level teams.
