This Padlet is here to support your revision - it includes all the books, poems, language guides, and other useful resources to help you prepare.

If you haven’t started revising yet, now is a great time to begin! You’ll be glad you did in the months ahead.

Here are some effective ways to revise:

• Plan answers to past questions

• Write practice responses

• Create mind maps

• Use flashcards

• Build character and theme banks

• Teach the material to yourself

If you’d like any extra support, feel free to bring in your revision answers or any preparation you’ve done at home - I’m happy to check them for you.

A reminder that predictions for your exams will start to surface but please note, these are just speculations!! Do NOT do your entire revision based around these or you may end up being very sad.

Next session, lots of quote analysis then we shall be moving onto Shakespeare. Please try to remember to bring your books.

As discussed in our in-person lessons, we will split the lesson in half for the upcoming sessions.

One hour will be a timed response.

The other hour will be poetry analysis.

Do show up to the session on time so we can get started right away and due to the different exam boards, we will schedule approx. 15-20 minute per poem! This is so everyone has the chance to discuss their poem in depth.

The next few weeks are the most important. The following structure does not apply for the online sessions.

As discussed in the Sunday sessions, it makes the most sense to do the following:

3rd/4th - English Lang P1 (hour 1), English Lit P1 (hour 2).

10th/11th - English Lit P1 (both hours)

[Monday 12th (13th for Eduqas) Lit P1 exam]

17th/18th - English lit P2 (both hours)

[Tuesday 20th Lit P2 Exam, Friday 23rd Lang P1 Exam]

24th/25th/31st/1st - English Lang P2

[Friday 6th Lang P2 exam]

Please make sure you come prepared!

Please remember: predictions are just that - guesses. There is a strong possibility that the predicted themes will not appear on the actual exam.

If any of the suggested themes feel unfamiliar or might catch you off guard, take a moment to create a plan for them. But above all, revise everything.

A well-rounded understanding will always be your best strategy.

Revise responsibly and keep going!

I have seen some of the exam questions and hopefully, you all found them okay? If it did go a bit side ways, please do not worry! Everything will work out.

Given that there are two exams next week, if you do any revision or answers that you need marked, please put them in your google drive folder or email them to me. There is a chance I may not have enough time in the session to mark all of them.

I saw the exam questions, and for the whole, they didn't seem too atrocious. I am hoping you all managed to power through and even if you found particular sections challenging, that you gave it your best shot.

No matter how you feel the exam went, you tried your best and that is what matters. You should be proud of all the work you have done in preparation for English Literature! :)

While I'd love to say English is finished, we still have English Language to come. Keep going with your revision! There is a document on the Padlet for some last minute extracts, model answers, etc for your revision. As I said to you guys before, feel free to upload answers to your google drive if you would like them marked. Best of luck!

Give yourself a bit of an English break, we have two weeks until paper 2!

This will now (obviously) be our only focus for our last two tuition sessions. We will go through the entire paper and focus on weaknesses, etc.
