On this Padlet, post an answer to the question:

Choose two of Earth's Spheres - atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere/geosphere, and biosphere - and describe how they interact.

There is an interaction between the hydrosphere and the biosphere. An interaction is when something happens in one sphere and another gets effected. In this case, the interaction is if the hydrosphere suddenly disappears or the water cycle stop's, the biosphere would collapse. The hydrosphere is all the water on Earth in solid, liquid and gas form. The biosphere is all living organisms on Earth. All living organisms humans, animals and plants need water to survive or we would all die of dehydration. In conclusion, if anything happened to the hydrosphere there would be a domino effect that passes down to the biosphere putting us in great risk.

On a separate note, commenting on Amari, I like how you put down the link showing where the information is coming from.
Commenting on Maima, I like the way you wrapped up your thoughts explaining the main point in one sentence.
Finally, commenting on Shreoshe, I like the way you explained step by step the way the 2 spheres are connected.

3/3

The interactions between two of the Earth's spheres, atmosphere and hydrosphere is that they both make weather, that deals with water. For example in the hydrosphere, the water evaporates and goes to the atmosphere, where the atmosphere stores all the water molecules. Finally when it is all cooled down the heaviest water molecules get out and form rain, sleet, snow, and more. This is the interaction between the atmosphere and hydrosphere. 3/3

The lithosphere and the atmosphere interact in many ways. The lithosphere or geosphere is the earth and it's insides. The atmosphere are the gases surrounding the earth, absorbing heat, etc. They rely on each other, or else the Earth would look VERY different. For example, in http://hendersonearthspacescience.weebly.com/sphere-interactions.html, it states that the suns radiation is what keeps the earth's insides warm and molten (lithosphere); without the atmosphere, it would be TOO hot, since water vapor and carbon dioxide, as well as other gases (atmosphere) that absorb heat and radiation, would be gone. Another example is volcanoes;(also from http://hendersonearthspacescience.weebly.com/sphere-interactions.html), volcano's (lithosphere) spew out ashes into the atmosphere, and it changes the weather. Without some of these effects, our Earth would be much different.

And now for the responses: Replying to Shreoshe, I like how you stated the similarities of both spheres before mentioning the examples.
Also, replying to Amari, I like how you used other students answers to help you. 3/3

The atmosphere and the hydrosphere interact because the "hydrosphere is where water is located and when water evaporates it is raised into the atmosphere and then change in to water or other forms of precipitation". They interact meaning they have an effect towards each other. For example "the atmosphere and hydrosphere involve creation of water-related weather activity, such as rainfall, snowstorms, hurricanes and monsoons". Another example is "water from the hydrosphere evaporates into the air and reaches the atmosphere in the same way since water in the hydrosphere and air in the atmosphere move constantly". This shows the interaction between hydrosphere and atmosphere.
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120223174011AAgzroj
https://www.reference.com/science/interactions-between-atmosphere-hydrosphere-a9e0398f4fd69c3d

3/3

The biosphere and the hydrosphere interact with because all life needs water.I say that because bio means life and hydro means water. So basically what i'm trying to say is if we don't drink water we will die of dehydration.Another reason is that all most sea creatures need water to breath. Without it it will cause a domino effect and everyone will starve to death. The hydrosphere needs the biosphere because without us human all water will be dirty and be filled with acid ,and if people keep on drinking piss than we will die so we humans or A.K.A people filter the water to make it beautiful and make it all life on earth able to drink it.Hence it is obvious how the biosphere and the hydrosphere depend on each other. 2/3

The interaction between the biosphere and geosphere is that the geosphere uses minerals in the soil that helps feed animals. The biosphere is when a plant takes carbon dioxide. Biosphere and geosphere are two different things. One example of geosphere impacting biosphere is when a plant is growing , its roots get h2o and the water is helping the plant make growth. This shows how biosphere and geosphere interact.

One example is that for us humans, geosphere helps us survive because of the oxygen. That is geosphere's fault. One example of how geosphere affects biosphere is that when a plant is growing the roots get water and geosphere helps that happen. That is geospheres fault. Water is the main thing that helps the plant grow just like a main idea of a book or something. This shows the interaction between biosphere and geosphere. 2/3
