One day she starts to get very dizzy. she doesn't tell any one and she keeps it to her self. On new years she tries to wish it away. It seemed like it was working. the dizziness had gone away. Until one day she fell and could not get up. Then she was taken to a hospital. She was told that she had leukemia, the deadly atomic bomb sickness. She thinks if she can make a thousand paper cranes she will live forever. Then one day she closes her eyes.... and never wakes up! Her friends and family finish making all the cranes.
