For the first round of photoshop we learn how to use the basic tools that cover how most of photoshop works, like filters, cutting and masking, and most importantly, the layers. Everything I've learned so far has been very useful because I planned to get in to photoshop for my own personal use anyways so taking a class for it has helped me a lot. Especially the cutting and masking. I want to at some point make decent looking memes or comic strips based around characters I choose so learning how to cut and mask has enabled me to do so.

It takes a few steps that can be confusing because it uses a lot of mask layers, but overall it's pretty easy once you remember. Then you use the brush tool to make features of your character peek through the background.

It used a lot of filters and blending options as well as the snipping too to create the holes in the ground. The fire in the back looks really good yet was so simple to add.
