A decade ago, children were sent to school at the age of five, but nowadays it has progressively become the usual to send 4-year-olds to school. Various factors contribute to this phenomenon. The necessity for working parents to earn a living is a significant contributing element. This raises the question of whether attending school in an early age is beneficial for young children? Portor, a researcher, has argued that early schooling might have the opposite effect of what is intended, including theft, drug use, and other social problems. It is then believed that stay-home moms should accompany their children at home rather than sending them to school in order to remedy the issue.
