Whenever I feel impatient and try to stop others from expressing their opinions, I write down everything that relates to this emotion. Therefore, I can observe what kind of things or situations make me impatient, such as when others are purchasing me to follow their ideas or when they are judging me by telling me my mistakes. I should understand myself first to better control my emotion. 

Step 2: After having the self-awareness about what makes me impatient.  I can practice my active listening skill on a daily basis by inviting my partner and roommate to be my trainers. Whenever I want to express my opinions by cutting off the conversation, they can remind me immediately and draw a star in my notebook. To impress myself, I need to wash dishes as the punishment. Furthermore, I can see my improvement and to encourage myself by seeing less star I get after a while.

(Richard, D & Pathricia, L, 2018, p,266) Sometimes, I concentrate on what I’m going to say next rather than listen to others’ stories patiently. Also, I would interrupt others while they are talking since I’m too urgent to give advice. By practicing active listening, I’m able to learn more about people, to get the best out of them, and to place them in the suitable positions. Each painting is a combination of different colors might deliver different messages and feelings to the viewer. For leaders, all followers symbolize different colors. To create a perfect piece of work, the leader must understand the characteristics of each color and mix them appropriately to get the best result. Also, a good leader should be able to take challenges and be brave to try all kinds of possibilities. Although sometimes the result of mixing colors is not necessarily what you initially imaged for, you can still learn from the experience and even create unexpected results. To be the excellent painter who can create the beautiful painting, there are two goals for me to reach first. I’ve observed that I naturally ask questions that narrow and push to a specific solution, which is limiting myself from improvements. Therefore, I should always ask my team to generates as much as ideas together and seek out perspectives that are different from the usual. 

Step 2: I can develop my adaptability skill by traveling alone. Sometimes, I tend to rely on others without trying by myself first when dealing with difficulties. However, this may inhibit my growth and make me become a person who is not able to handle complex situations. While traveling alone to a different country, I need to think on my feet, to embrace all circumstances, and to adapt quickly to unexpected situations.
