Definition: Children who receive special education should learn in the least restrictive environment. This means they should spend as much time as possible with peers who do not receive special education.
Damian Clip: Damian was treated no different than the other kid, all the kids accepted him and just treated him normally. He grew more confident in him self due to him being into a normal classroom. Damian was able to use technology to access the general curriculum like his DynaVox, picture cards, and word cards so he could make choices. He was also able to use letter cards to learn how to spell words. I feel that the other kids also benefited from this experience because they learn that just because someone is different from you it doesn't mean you should treat them different.
