What is a percentage?
a percentage is like a fraction for example 7/10 the percentage is 70%.
How do percentages relate to fractions and decimals?
because if you imagine 70% could be 0.7 or 70 out of 100.
where do you see percentages in real life?
-at school
-at the shop
I learnt that you don't just use percentages at the shop or school.

A percentage is out of something for example 5/10 would be 50%. A percentage is a fraction or decimal and they all can be converted into a percentage like 0.5 = 50% = 5/10
They are all related so they can all be converted into each other. A PERCENTAGE is out of one hundred and if its 100% it a whole.In real life you see them every where.

1.A percentage is a part of a whole with a % (percantage symbol) behind for example: 99%. It cant be bigger than 100 though 
2. Percantages relate to decimals and fractions because they are all part of a whole. This is a example: 25/100=25%=0.25.
3. You see percantages in real life for tests and homework.

A percentage, is how much a number is out of something. Like, figure out the percentage of 20/30. It relates to fractions because a percentage is actually like a hidden fraction. 90% is 90/100 because it is perCENT. As in per century, so the percent is out of a 100 which is a whole in the case of a percentage. Percentages are seen in real life when tests or homework etc . Like if you get 49/50 that translates to a 98%. You can work out percentages via multiplication. If you get 49/50 you would times 49/50 by 100. --------- 49/50x100. It is related to decimals as the denominator in fractions for percentages is 100, the numerator will end in the hundredth in percentages. Like 98% would be 0.98. Overall percentage is another way of marking how much out of a whole a number or mark is.

What is a percentage
A percentage is a part of a whole. A whole would be 100% and your percentage would be less such as 57%. It's related to fractions because because they are both part as a whole for exp: 1/10 would be 10% out of 100% . Percentage can be used in a lot of things like your iPhone battery. Or how much you ow to someone like you paid 43% of 100%. Percentage can be with addition and subtraction and multiplication and division.

Three things I learnt

2) We usually look at a percentage everyday because your computer,iphone,ipad all have a battery.

Definition:
A rate, Number, or amount I each hundred.

Say if I did a test, and I had to get 80% to pass and I only got 2% did I pass... No and I never will :/
