On the 21st of July 1969 the first man landed on the moon. The astronauts made history when the first man landed on the moon by the United States and Neil Armstrong and Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin became the first humans to set foot on the moon leaving the first human footprints in its dusty soil.

The first woman in space was Valentina Vladimirovna from Russia. She went there in the Vostok 6 spaceship on a three day flight in June 16th to 18th 1963.

Did you know that big stars zap other smaller stars with high energy rays. In a few million years the big star will turn into a red super giant. In about 6 billion years the red super giant will explode to become a neutron star or even the most powerful thing ever, something with so much gravity that not even light can escape...
