What surprised you?
- How much work is going on in respect of the week's topics
- Even once policy change is achieved, implementation is difficult (long road to change). Advances are encouraging but so far to go.
- Microplastics- what will happen in time?
- One ingredient may be produced in a different environment to others- how to regulate global context.

News items:
- Tainted pork burrito leads to 4 year ban for middle distance runner
- Oversanitisation due to COVID environment, impact on human microbes. Microbes are being impacted- viruses looking for alternate places to establish themselves- in time produce more viruses. How sure are we of the evidence of sanitisation. Reward of sanitation doesn't outweigh risk of diminished microbes.
