For this sketch I took inspiration from the wings of the Jordan logo. I get a lot of inspiration from the Jordan logo because Michael Jordan is one of my biggest inspiration because he paved the way for young people in sports and fashion which are to areas I'm extremely interested in.

Here is a drawing I did to help further my skills in drawing as this is a field that I'm not as strong in as I would like to be. One of the main reasons I struggle with drawing is because of my dyspraxia. Adding onto that because I struggle with it I tend to shy away from drawing and use other techniques that I'm stronger in. This means I have never really practiced it even tho it is an extremely useful skill to have especially In creative subjects.

Today I was experimenting with AI to help give me ideas for the design of my bird. Personally I don’t like the idea of AI as it feels extremely lazy and rather make my work myself.

Here is a collection of work I made for the exquisite corpses lecture. To produce this work I was in a group with 3 other people and we would all had to draw on each others paper to make this peculiar set of work. I had a lot of fun producing this set of work because it was interesting to see how your drawing blended with everyone else's.

Today we had a lecture on collages and how they can be an amazing way to express your art and make an extremely strange piece. This was my response to the brief. To create this image I used a mixture of the different techniques we have learnt through out this module. This bird is mainly themed around the images I took on the RAF cosford museum visit, I also used Ai and one of my sketches to finalise the bird. Ive done this process before and I do really enjoy the creativity of it as it's something I don't get to visit often.

Today We worked as a group to put our own spin on the pirch. I collaborated with Ramsey and Annis to make a sturdy structure for our birds to sit. Adding onto that I enjoyed this task because I got to work with my friends, also it was a different task to anything I've done before.

today I made the wings for my bird. to make the wings I recycled a card board food delivery box. To get the shape I flattened the box then cut it to shape.

Today I started covering the whole of the body of my bird in pictures. The pictures I have shown on the body and wings of my bird are city scapes of Birmingham city centre. To stick the pictures to my bird I used pva glue and I would soak each segment of the picture in the glue for a few minutes before sticking them to my bird.

Today I put the finishing touches on my bird. to finish off my bird I started off by painting the inside of the wings and using a hot glue gun I connected the wings to my bird. I also painted the head, beak and feet black, the reason I used black for these features of my bird is so that the pictures i covered the torso and wings in will stand. Also the dark colours add to the street photography theme I ended up going with.

After painting the head i realised the head still looked plain so I decided to give it a set of eyes. To make the eyes I used two metal that I found in the studio screws. My reasoning behind the screws was to help really bring the street vibe to life.

To help bring our birds to life Jo and Paul set up an infinity curve in the studio which we could use to carry out a mini photo shoot out for our birds. I really enjoyed this task as photography is my main profession so this was extremely useful to keep my skills fresh. I also feel as this really gave my bird its own personality and persona.

In todays session I finally finished my bird and got it on the pirch. Im so happy with how this project went as i have never done a project like this before so it was very inspirational and refreshing to see how far I got with it. Im really happy with the placement of my bird as it looks like my bird is looking down at the nest.
