Our goal is to give the children a great day where they can learn and play games and treats to share with everybody (cakes, cookies, muffins, etc) .We want to help them with their tasks and all their obstacles.Also we will collect things they need like clothes or school supplies. Also we want to investigate why kids don’t like school and the last barriers of education.

The global context is fairness and development because our topic is related to inclusion, difference and inequality. We are going to make a day for students to have fun, eat delicious food and play games  because that is something that sometimes they are not able to do and we do all the time. We want them to have one day like ours everyday. We want for them to have a life like ours (to have equality).

Relation: It is the organization we are going to work with

Usefulness: We learnt about how the organization works and what things they offer to the kids. It gives us information about the organization, kids and how they work.

Relation: It gives us information about what we should change about school and what we can make so the kids have fun.

Usefulness: We learnt about why kids don’t like school and how we could change that. It helps us understand what things we should not try to do when we go to the organization.

Relation: It is related because we want to help kids to have a better education so we have to know what are the barriers that kids have to go through, especially kids that live in bad conditions.

Usefulness: It can help us understand how kids feel or why they act, it also helps us prepare for the environment you are going to and what is the reality of a lot of those students.

Relation: It is related because we are going to go to an organization so we have to know the importance of these organizations and we are different from Governmental Organizations.

Usefulness: This is useful so people know what an organization is (including us that are the people that are working with the organization), and also to have an idea of what an organization is.

Trabajamos en el producto final, el first document y nos organizamos.

The community we choose is “Cartoneros y sus chicos”, this community stands for the children's academic support. In the morning, they have classes, they help them with their homework and teach them the basics. Like math, language, putting accents… Also they have different workshops, like Learning Artistic and Expressive Languages, Art Workshop, Body Expression Workshop and Music Production Workshop

And in the afternoon they all have tea together. The need we identified  was that they need school supplies and also that the kids don’t experience days at school like we do, they don’t have special days where they play games and have fun, also that kids don’t enjoy school days.
