He said gently, "George . . . I ain't got mine. I musta lost it." turns out George was holding onto Lennies work ticket. The big goof love's the idea of having rabbits, he says on almost every page that he's gonna "tend the rabbits," like in page 105 "We'll have a cow," said George. "An' we'll have maybe a pig an' chickens . . . an' down the flat we'll have a . . . little piece alfalfa------" "For the rabbits'" Lennie shouted. for the rabbits," George repeated." Everyone thinks he's a big empty headed dumbo, like in page 39 it says, "He ain't no cuckoo," and George.
