There were (are) lots of issues at home, and getting the family to complete work was difficult. In addition, the mother and I had different ideas about what level books are appropriate for the kid. We solved this by switching to Bright Thinker online. The included reading is grade-level appropriate, and the mom appreciates that the curriculum is varied and paced out.
