Her name is Risa and Daisuke wanted to confess his love to her. When he did he got turned down by Risa. He was sad for the rest off the day and what made it even worst he got dumped on his birthday. Now that would suck and he also had bad luck for the rest of the school day. 

As Daisuke got home he noticed that something that was off. Then he realize the door nob to his house was boobytrapped and almost fell in a hole. He found a way to get to the other side of the room without getting hurt. As you can see he isn’t your normal average kid. He had to go through a optical cores to get in the house. When he final made through all the boobytraps his mom was waiting for him and surprised he say welcome home. He family has an ancient background and a power past on to each boy that was born in the family. 

That night he was thinking of Risa and he fell so deeply in love with her that he unlocked his powers that slept with in him.Then he turned into a guy called Dark. Daisuke didn’t know what was going on and started to freak out. Then he went to his mom and asked her what was happening to him. She said the person he turned into was apart of his destiny. She also said that the Niwas have been a family of art thieves for 400 years. They all begin when they reach 14 years of age and Daisuke Grandpa was Dark too. Is Grandpa said in order to change back to into himself would be the Scared Maiden. Daisuke went along with the stealing plan cause he thought that the Scared Maiden was the statue, but boy was he wrong. 

As Daisuke was getting ready to go steal the statue he learned that his pet Wiz can turn into a par of wings. Daisuke was surprised at first but he let Wiz help him. When Daisuke met his destination he had to put on a disguise and he past through the toughest security system the police had put up. Every thing was going smoothly for him but the security system was like child play to him. All he wanted was the statue, get out, and going back to being a kid again. 

Every thing was going smoothly for him and when he thought he was done. This guy from his school named Satoshi popped up and caught him. At first Daisuke was nervous cause he though that Satoshi would recognize him. Luckily he didn’t and Daisuke was confused on why Satoshi was there. Surprisingly Satoshi is really smart and is the commander of the police force. He also caught Daisuke and told him that he devoted his life to capturing him. 

When Daisuke thought he had no were to run and was about to give up. Dark took over his body and played tricks on Satoshi. Dark was like the king of thieves cause he always had a trick up his sleeves. Dark and Daisuke ended up escaping and taking the statue. Daisuke and Dark ended up talking on the way back home and arguing, but it was mostly Dark picking on him. When they past Risa house Risa’s sister named Riku ended up spotting him. They ended up making eye contact and for some reason Daisuke turned back to himself, but don’t worry Riku did see him transform back. She was to busy say that there was a pervert. Then Daisuke ended up going home with the statue after all this crazy stuff happened to him. 

When Daisuke got home his mom told him of how proud she was of him and his Grandpa was pleased as well. As he thought he was all over with the thief things and turning into Dark was over. His mom told him that as long as he likes Risa he will keep turning into Dark. They Daisuke mad and told his Grandpa lied to him, but his Grandpa said that he didn’t lie to him. Then his mom and Grandpa told him that the Scared Maiden’s were Risa and Riku. Also in order for him to change back to himself for good. HIs first love would have to love him in return. The problem is his first love is Risa and he wonders how is he going to get Risa to love him back when she already turned him down.

The next day when he went to school the girls were going crazy over the news about Dark the Thief. The girls were head over heels for Dark, but the one who was even more crazy about Dark was Risa. Now this is a problem cause now it is going to be even harder for Daisuke to win over Risa’s heart when Dark already stole her heart. This is a difficult time for Daisuke and he such good guy. I hope Risa will notice that but I think a curtain some think of Daisuke more than just a friend. Which I think it’s Riku who notices him and secretly likes him but doesn’t want to admit it!

A few months later summer had arrived. Daisuke and his classmates had a swimming day at school. Daisuke was trying really hard to not bump into Risa. He knows that if he bumps into Risa, sees her, and think about her. He will turn into Dark in front of his classmates and he didn’t want that. Later on the teacher pared the class into two. Daisuke’s partner was Riku,who is Risa’s big sister. Daisuke was relieved that it was just Riku. Then Risa came over to them and she was looking for her partner. Then her partner swam over like a mad man and knocked Risa over onto Daisuke. This is a problem cause then Daisuke turns into Dark and he has to go under water in order for people not to see him. Then he finally found a way to get out of the pool without being seen. Wiz lucky transformed into Daisuke and pretended to be him in the pool drowning.  Then Satoshi almost gave mouth to mouth to help see Daisuke when it was acutely Wiz. Then Riku ends up finding Daisuke in Dark form and screamed peeping tom. Lucky Daisuke got away and turned back to normal in the boys room and boy that was a day for him. 

Daisuke did his normal outing stealing art from the museum. Then as usual Satoshi tries to capture him, but Satoshi acutely know about Daisuke’s identity just by say “Are you the one who can swim.” That takes use back to the swimming pool and Satoshi found out right at the pool so he knew for a while. As always Daisuke gets away but this time they tried an alarm. They went in this house to hide and found out it was actually Risa’s house. They accidentally got into Riku’s room and she was about to scream, but without warning Daisuke kissed her. When Daisuke realized he kissed her he ran off. The next day Riku came up to Daisuke and ask the if thing he left at the house was his. He was getting nervous, but then tells her no and that it wasn’t him. Then she walked off thinking that Dark was the one who kissed her. She got made that Dark still her first kiss but it was actually Daisuke. After Riku left Daisuke turned back into Dark. He was confused on why when he looks at Riku he turns into Dark and back into himself. I think it’s because Daisuke likes Riku and just doesn’t realizes it. So he thinks he likes Risa but he truly like Riku and sees not Risa but Riku.

I think this place is surrounded in mystery cause something out of the ordinary always happens. Some time Daisuke is at Azumano Middle School crushing on Risa or he turns into Dark and steals art from the Azumano  Art museum.

He confesses his love to her and even steels for her. Even though his life has his ups and downs. The only thing that keeps him going is the girl he loves. Even though he steels stuff he steels stuff for a reason and not just for crime. Also the theme is obviously love when Daisuke grandpa told him in order for Daisuke to get rid of Dark. Ever since Daisuke fell love with Risa things changed for him. When Daisuke felt the emotion of love his DNA reacted his powers and Dark. Dark causes a lot of problems for Daisuke he would tease him about Risa, makes Daisuke steal because he was Dark the Thief, and Just causes trouble. This conflict was resolved by Daisuke and Dark getting to know each other better. I soon became friends and agree with each other better. 

Daisuke vs. Love: The people involved are Daisuke, Dark, and Risa. Daisuke didn’t really have luck with the ladies. But there was this one girl he had his eyes on. He fell in love with Risa wanted to confess his love to her. When he finally confessed to her and she turned him down because she didn’t think of him in that kind of way. Even though she turned him down he couldn’t stop loving her. Then one night when he was in his room he was thinking of how much he loved her. Then suddenly his DNA changed and he was someone els and met Dark for the first time. He freaked out and didn’t want to be apart of Dark and wanted to change back to him self. His grandpa him in order for Daisuke to get rid of Dark. His first love would have to love him back. The problem is his first love is Risa and he wonders how is he going to get Risa to love him back when she already turned him down. The conflict isn't really resolved in the first book, but I believe that it is resolved in the other books to this series. 

Daisuke vs. Satoshi: the people involved are Daisuke, Dark, and Satoshi. Satoshi is a kid in Daisuke, but I think he’s a little more than an ordinary kid. It turns out that he devoted his life to catching Dark the Thief and he is also a commander in the police force, talk about shocking. Now Daisuke needs to be even more carful cause Satoshi can’t find out that he is Dark too. Dark is a completely different person because he live inside of Daisuke like a vessel. Daisuke needs to keep a secret for Dark rom Satoshi and everyone els. This conflict is resolved by Daisuke keeping Dark a secret and I also think more of it will be resolved in the other book series.

It’s a really good book and the main character is so cute and sweet. It makes me wonder why girls aren’t girl crazy over him.
