I think that Katniss is worried about the fact that the capitol might kill her family because she shot an arrow at the game makers in her privet session. In there privet sessions every one got a score Rue got a 7, Petta got an 8 and Katniss got a 11 which is almost the best score you can get. I think that this is an important fact because it may show the other tributes who the are up agenst. It could be a strategy to make them look weak but when the games start they will come out fighting. At the end of the chapter Petta asks Hamitch to coach him and Katniss seperatly. I was really surprised that he had said that because in th begining he was the one who wanted to be coached together.

At Katniss's training session with Effie she was not having a good time Effie kept o making her walk in high heels which she had never worn in her life. At the hunger games interviews Ceaser Flickerman who has hosted the hunger games for 40 years he helps the audience get to know the tributes. He changes the color of his hair every hunger games this year it is blue he wears make up to make him look younger because he has looked the same for every year.He wears a blue cerimonial suit, Ceaser does his very best to make the tributes look good. When Petta is having his interview and he say that he loves Katniss I wasn't really surprised because I had a feeling that something like that would happen.

Caesar Flickerman is the host for the Hunger Games. He is famous for turning any conversation around for the positive, and is known to change the color of his lips, hair, and eyelids for each Hunger Games. He always wears a midnight blue suit with small light bulbs decorating it. He has white make-up on midnight blue dotted stripes with thousands of tiny electric bulbs with blue stripes in his black hair. Peeta blushes beet red and stammers out. "Because... because... she came here with me." Which means that it is Katniss. Chapter 9:  1. It was not good because she mad Katniss wear high heels which she is not used to and Katniss and Effie start to yell and fight at each other.  2. This year Caesar's hair is a powder blue and his eyelids and lips are coated in the same hue. Last year Caesar looked freakish but less frightening than he did last year when his color was crimson and he seemed to be bleeding. My reaction was like WHAT!! Katniss is worried that the capitol will punish her or her family for shooting in the direction of the Gamemakers. Katniss is worried that her or her family will get punished. But she surprises herself and her team with an outstanding score of eleven! "Katniss, the girl who was on fire!" said Cinna (pg.109) While Peeta gets an 8 and little Rue gets a seven. This is important because the higher the score you get the better chance you have of getting sponsors but it also means that the other tributes will be after you first. When Katniss and Peeta and the rest of their group are at the dining table about to eat breakfast Peeta asks Haymitch if he can be coached by himself which takes Katniss by surprise. I think Peeta wants this so he can practice his special skills and learn new ones without Katniss knowing what they are. 
CHAPTER 9
Katniss's training with Effie didn't go very well because Effie wanted her to act all formal and Katniss did not like this. "I kick of my heels and stomp down to the dining room, hiking my skirt up to my thighs." (pg.116) Ceaser Flickerman is the man who asks the questions at the interviews. He is from the capitol and just like the rest of the capitol people besides Cinna, he is very fake looking with all his makeup and different things that make him look artificial. He has blue hair and pure white makeup on his face. He is pretty much the same as all the capitol people but he has a little more of a heart than them because he tries to help the tributes with their answers in the interviews. He also tries to laugh at their jokes because that makes the audience like them more. During Peeta's interview Peeta confesses to being in love with Katniss. "So here is what you do. You win, you go home. She can't turn you down then, eh? says Ceaser. I don't think that is going to work out. Winning... won't help in my case. Says Peeta. Why eve not? Says Ceaser. Because...because... she came here with me." (pg.130) When this happened I was shocked! 1. Katniss is worried about what will happen. She shot an arrow towards the Game Makers. She doesn't know what will happen and she hopes if won't hurt her family. "Now Iv'e ruined everything!" (Page 103). Katniss is worried. 
2. Rue gets a seven for a score, Peeta gets an eight, and Katniss gets an eleven. The scores they got are important because they are all pretty good scores and amazing scores attract sponsors. But Haymitch said tributes who get high scores get teamed up on at the very beginning and get eliminated. "If no one sponsors me, my odds of staying alive decrease to almost zero," (Page 105). They all get decent scores.
3. Peeta asked Haymitch to coach him separately from Katniss. He might want to be coached alone because he doesn't want Katniss to know his strategies. He also might not like that Katniss is getting the attention of the sponsors. He might think Katniss is ahead of him and he needs to catch up. "Peeta has asked to be coached separately," (Page 113).    
 Chapter 9
1. In Katniss's training session with Effie they worked on posture, how high to hold your dress, how to walk in heels, smiles, and most importantly to make the audience love you. "Just remember, Katniss you want the audience to like you," (Page 115). Katniss did not enjoy her training session with Effie.
2. Caesar Flickerman is the "talk show host" for the Hunger Games. His face is covered in makeup to make him look younger and his hair is the same style as it has always been, but this year it is dyed blue for the Hunger Games. He is wearing a midnight blue suit with white dots. He is a "bouncy" type of person. He tries to help the tributes by playing along with their jokes and trying to get them to loosen up and not be nervous. "It's a little scary because his appearance has been virtually unchanged during all that time," (Page 124). Caesar is a very energetic "talk show host."
3. Peeta tells Caesar that he likes someone and that someone is Katniss. I felt it was going to happen but I was surprised that he said it in front of everybody in Panem. "Because... because... she came here with me." He is famous for turning any conversation around for the positive, and is known to change the color of his lips, hair, and eyelids for each Hunger Games. He always wears a midnight blue suit with small light bulbs decorating it. He has white make-up on midnight blue dotted stripes with thousands of tiny electric bulbs with blue stripes in his black hair. Peeta blushes beet red and stammers out.
