    • Add the eggs, flour and salt to the bowl with the potato and onion. Place 1/4 cup fulls into a hot fry pan with a little olive oil and butter. Flatten them out a little bit. Fry for about 3-5 minutes on each side on a medium to high heat until golden.

In Germany, there are so many other holidays that we don't celebrate here. The amount of money is different was well. Germany also was all kinds of foods that we don't have here in America. We vote for the president the same way as well. Germany has many national monuments, probably not more than the U.S though. They speak in a totally different language as well. Germany also has very different rites of passages than we do. For one, girls on Germany don't celebrate their 16th birthday by having a sweet 16 like we do. Germany also have a men's national soccer team. By doing this assignment, I also learned that my great, great, great grandpa was in World War II. They also found his World War I and II draft cards. Draft cards are very rare to find after the wars.
