Jiminy was a boy that his parents forced him to steal money but he didn't like that, he wanted to be a good person. 
Grumpy was a dwarf who had fallen in love with Nora but he was a miner, and the miners mustn't leave the mine. He hasn't got freedom, he couldn't beat in his love because the fairy told him that they couldn't be together. 
In conclussion, we think that both of them want to follow their dreams but only Jiminy can because he believed in himself, and this is why he had a happy life. Also Leroy too because he could sell all the candles and make the girl that he loves happy.
