My photo represents the struggle between life and death. The red ribbon is hanging on a tree to show the life of the world and the ribbon represents the struggle of drug addiction nationwide. The picture is overall Black and white to focus on the red ribbon to show the importance of not doing drugs. It’s hard to see the world in such a crisis. 

            It’s important not to do drugs because the overall ruin peoples life. They affect the way people live and can ruin their future. When people get addicted t drugs they end up spending all their money on it and ruin their current financial state. They lose their families and sometimes even their children. 

            

            I think drugs are bad because they can ruin a lot of people lives. A lot of drugs are addicting like meth for example and when you are on meth you can’t control your body or your mind and you basically go crazy. Meth is also super addictive so you need more and more and it takes over your life. This just shows how drugs are bad because a lot of people are falling into this trap and ruining their life and becoming crazy for no reason. Drugs are also bad because they are expensive so once you are addicted a lot of your money goes to that when it should go to other beneficial things that won’t kill you. These are the reasons I think drugs are bad and why people shouldn’t use them.

 

            The concept of my photo started off with the idea of unity. Usually people that start doing drugs are surrounded by people who use and are convinced that they should do it as well. But when you’re surrounded with people that are also against drugs it helps you stay away it. That’s why I liked this photo compared to the other shots I took because the red ribbon was wrapped around everyone’s hand. 

            Saying no to drugs is a good thing because it can change a person to the highest extent. And If you really start doing hardcore drugs it can mentally damage a person’s way of thinking. That’s why I believe that people should stay away from drugs that can completely damage a person. I believe that it is possible for people to do other things rather than turning their heads toward drugs to keep themselves occupied.

Red Ribbon

 

What are drugs? How do they affect us along with our body? These are a couple of questions we may ask ourselves along with others. This is a picture of four football players jumping in mid-air posing for the picture that is being taken with fast shutter speed. The only reason why these four have a jersey on with their name and football number is because drugs aren’t apart of their life at all, they are being successful in school, and hopefully looking towards getting a scholarship in what they love doing. If you find yourself in a problem situation, make an excuse to leave. Ask for support from other friends or adults if someone is really pressuring you to use drugs. Make new friends who respect your decision not to use drugs. Go to events that don't involve drugs.

 

There are so many reasons why we shouldn’t let drugs into our lives. I will list some of the main ones, Behavioral Problems, drugs can change a teen’s personality, instead of being easygoing or hardworking, drugs can make a person angry, bitter, and aggressive. This will most likely have an impact on relationships with parents, teachers, and others in authority. Next, Crime and Violence, teens on drugs may steal to support their drug habit or they may become involved with violence because of their mental impairment. Last, Brain Damage, not only do drugs and alcohol harm the body, but the brain can be negatively affected also, seizures, coma, and memory loss are all common among people who abuse drugs and alcohol. Mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and insomnia all go hand in hand with substance abuse in teens. Another important example on how drugs really do affect us is Health Problems, drugs and alcohol are toxic to the body and can cause things like liver and kidney failure, rapid heart rate, tremors, and irregular respiration.  People commonly fall into addiction because they begin using drugs to mask particular emotions that they are going through. The abuse makes them feel good and forget about the problem at hand. Eventually they think they can't live without drugs. Prescription drugs, street drugs and alcohol are more available than ever. I hope you make the choice to say NO to drugs. 

              Red Ribbon 

       My photo is of Ranusha   Wearing a red hat and how the red is only focused on the red while the rest is black and white. The meaning behind my picture is that drugs will cause brain issues and will potentially mess with one’s mental health and how the brain functions. This is represented by it being the main focus. The brain gets destroyed while taking in drugs and not a lot of people are aware and this picture brings awareness to brain developing. 

 

       Drugs are bad because they lower one’s worth, not only self-worth but their brains work as well.  Drugs have a lifelong effect on your body and brain, you can never get it back to how it originally was. Personally I do not see a point in drugs because of the lifelong effects and causes. Drugs are something you can never take back no matter if you stop they’ll always be a part of your brain. 

 

I think that not doing drugs is important because it will help you in the long run. I f you do not do drugs your able to do things that people on drugs who can not do.

 

The Concept of my photo is that we shouldn’t ignore obvious signs of someone transporting drugs and we should report it.The car happened to be red, so i got lucky that there was a red car in school. There are lots of people that use cars to transport drugs all over the world. We should be careful with what we say and do around them and be careful when you are reporting them.

I don’t know what type of rugs we are talking about so i can’t say that drugs are bad
