It was a good amount of work but the product turned out well. I struggled with putting my pictures into clay but ended up just using them as inspiration for what I molded. I wanted to use lots of abstract colors in this project and the special glaze we used helped for these colors to stand out. In this project I learned that trusting the process works. The clay continuously fell apart even after molding the pieces together. I ended up having to score and slip most of the project to get it to work. The animals in the project resemble my oddness in life like a llama, and my loyalty like a wolf or a dog. The colors on the body of my project worked well to show the colors of my animals. However, the neck and head did not work correctly with the colors.
