So its the begging of two thousand twenty four and I have ate all my grapes to make the wishes I want and drink some apple cider with it because it was something I was looking forward to drinking all day, or should I say LAST YEAR. Yes there were a lot of last year jokes that myself, my family, and friends used as soon as it was the new year. Anyways enough about last year's jokes the whole entire day was really fun because we got to eat a whole bunch of good things like steak, tacos, and lots more. Also we played lots of games before the countdown that way we could pass the time.

So I have this appointment with my doctors to talk about diabetes and how I am doing with handling and managing my disease that I have known as diabetes. My mom takes me in we get called to go and I remember some time in the conversation upgrading from insulin injections to insulin pumps came up and I had said yes to the idea so later on we say which one we want to choose and they just practice me with it and now everything is way more easier for me and I feel I dont really have to stress as much on diabetes but I still take care of myself.

So my parents tell me that since I am getting surgery soon and wont be able to celebrate my birthday, I can go to Knotts Berrys Farm early and invite some people to come. I had chosen to invite my cousins because they are my favorite family relatives that are not the people who live with me. We went in and already there was a really long line to get in and I hated it but I bared through it. At first we had to go into the lines but than my mom got us fastpass since I qualify to get it. We went on every ride there except the little kid ones. I had a real fun time and we all ate In N Out later on.

As an early birthday gift I got a skateboard from my dad. I was excited since I have been wanting one for a long time but could never find ones that were good for me. As soon as I got home I went to go try and learn how to ride it and after a few attempts and falls I got the hang of it. I loved this new thing that I had figured out how to do. Right now at the moment I still dont know any tricks but I am still trying to learn them so its still fun.

This day was not the best of 2024 but it is still a major part of the year because this is going to affect me for a real long time. We drove to the hospital they took x-rays, had us sign papers, and we were off to go. They put the anesthesia in my IV and I was asleep. When I woke up I felt way different and it really felt like that for one week. After four days we were good and I could go home. Those days in the hospital sucked but I pushed through it and got out. After two days out of the hospital I was more flexible and could move more than before.
