MS - we share our emotions as teachers to keep things real; use Zones of Regulation (blue, yellow, green, red) -- we share our own feelings and emotions (identify self-awareness) -- people can share their zone in class to acknowledge that always being in the green zone is unrealistic (this is done 2 days of week); Mondays and high-lows from weekend, Friday and rose and thorn of the week; use 20-30 minutes

SH - math program; have one specific assignment they have to complete in one day, which makes them feel successful in accomplishing something; students and teachers sharing comments during class activities; there's a google check-in form each day that has a new goofy question each day; these questions are intentional but not necessarily intentional (some classes are quieter, so need to moderate questions)
KP - "what would you rather" questions are fun ways to get them going and build culture
SH - student-driven presentations/sharing have opened students' eyes to the challenges that teachers have in teaching students online
KP - remind students to drink water; remind self to drink water
SH - model work for students and build up their skills that allow students to keep up and minimize frustration that comes with learning new things (guiding their learning) -- emphasize with students that we are available to help -- "I am on your side. Learning online sucks, but we can do this together!"; getting students to see teachers are human and want students to do well and succeed
