Why do I make art?

It feels goooood! I make to escape the everyday stresses, it makes me feel free. Most importantly it GROUNDS me. In the chaos of everything if I can just chill out and make something, literally anything, I will feel 100 times better. Making and being creative makes me feel joy, it makes me feel human <3
Ways I make and get creative in my life:
-Cooking!
-Photographing
-Taking a different way home
-Painting
-Ceramics
-Writing lessons
-Making alongside my students
-Dancing
-Music/creating playlists
-I'm sure there's more but my brain is fried

I used to draw often as a child and then stopped. Then during covid I went back to drawing and I realized how much it helped me get through the pandemic and my mental health. And then ever since I tried new art styles and never stopped drawing since.
