Fifth Wave is about when "Others" who are just like humans take over Earth. I picked it because I like books with action and emotion. The most interesting thing is that they have to trust certain people but they can't

Within the setting of this book, you would have to be very careful when you go outside not to get shot, and you would also have to carry a weapon with you everywhere you go. The setting is also a wasteland, so most of the place is open except for the trees.

This is displayed very often in the book, especially after she meets Evan Walker and he takes her guns, so she goes to investigate to learn about him.

Although this book is very well known and I'm sure most have heard of it, I would recommend this book to anybody that likes intense cliffhangers, as well as action and books with multiple conflicts. This book has many conflicts between its many main characters, which also makes cliffhangers, because some chapters are about one character, and the next chapter is about another.
