Every cell in your body produces peroxide when it goes through chemical reactions. Unfortunately, peroxide is poisonous to humans. Your body created a way to break down the peroxide, one way is catalase. Catalase is made by every cell in your body and when it breaks down peroxide, it turns it into water and oxygen.
