As of now, the project is complete and Delta has accepted deliveries of all 84 carbon-efficient planes.

In the future, Delta plans to expand this fleet to 180 aircraft.

This is an ongoing effort and the airline plans to invest an additional 500 million dollars in researching fuel alternatives (bio-fuels).

By 2030, Delta Airlines aims to have an all "carbon-neutral" fleet of A321 aircraft.

It is an ongoing initiative. However, through the years, Delta has donated its recycling revenues to fund construction of several homes under their “Habitat for Humanity” program.

In addition to this, the airline has recycled over 2 million pounds of aluminum and plastic waste from several aircraft.

In the future, Delta plans on introducing an "eco-friendly" uniform (made from recycled waste) and a strict 0 plastic policy.
