<title>Rosalyn Osborn 17 MAR 2017 I would use a picture of a family in the Maldives that I took many years ago. The photo could be used to learn family names (e.g. Mother, father, etc), the people&#39;s physical appearance (eyes, nose, etc, colour of hair), about whether the people are rich or poor, and about their emotions. The photo could also be used for learning weather conditions and even about transport (e.g. On the capital island there are many cars but boats and planes are used to island hop).</title>

<title>Tamara Powell16 MAR 2017I would use pictures in the cities full of people. I would have my students `pick one person in the picture and make up a story such as what they do as a living, where they are headed, thoughts or whatever comes to mind. Maybe using their imagination sometime helps them out use more vocabulary.</title>

<title>Path Camacho Gómez 14 MAR 2017 I&#39;d use this image to raise interest in a topic I consider important for learners to be able to talk about. It&#39;s not only abou the problem the world had with Ebola, it&#39;s also about third world issues in general. I&#39; d tell my students to imagine where the picture was taken, who took it and why they thing this person took this photo. After those simple and easy questions to simply speculate about the photograph, I&#39;d go further and I&#39;d ask them how the picture makes them feel. Exploring emotions in a different language can be pretty amazing and sometimes people find it easier to express certain emotions when they are using a different language. It&#39;s as if they felt they are a different person and are, therefore, free to say things they wouldn&#39;t even think about in their own language.</title>

<title>Beata Kana10 MAR 2017I use pictures to introduce grammar. Recently, I taught the second conditional using a picture of an island. I told them that the island were for sale and we could afford to buy it. Then the students had to imagine their life on that island using the new grammar structure.</title>
