This project regenerated the national forests in the United States and also formed shelter belts on the Great Plains to prevent the negative impact of dust storms (Alexander, 2018). The CCC also created fire forest prevention systems, created and landscaped 711 state parks, and built hiking trails in national parks.

Roosevelts Tree Army has influenced organizations and other youth work programs, such as national non-profits and state based programs. Without the help of the CCC, the National Park System and other state national parks would not be able to grow. Individuals visiting the Grand Canyon today can still recognize the structures that were built from the CCC's efforts (Neatrour, 2015).
