At the museum we learned all about the transatlantic slave trade and about how poorly Black people were treated during and after slavery. While we were there we heard  the story of countless African-American that were treated wrongly, even after slavery ended, and got to see countless memorials of those who suffered. We toured Spelman where we were informed all about the culture of the school. We learned the interesting myths and stories about the campus. We were given a lot of knowledge about the programs offered and the everyday life of students. Overall the experience was very informative and helped us consider our futures more in depth. Spelman ties into Wakanda Forever because, Wakanda is a world with strong smart women and a lot of diversity. Spelman uplifts diverse strong and smart women so the can succeed in their future careers.

When we visited ADP we were not only introduced to new people but new environments and the inside to a real company. When we first arrived we were brought on a Tour of the building where they showed us not only their individual business rooms that they can reserve but their cafeteria, bank, and all the hidden nooks for people to use through out the day.

At the end of the day we were given a list of questions to ask employees of the company. We had 5 minutes with each person and everyone talked to approximately 5-6 employees who all has different roles in the company.

We were also able to create collages that described our favorite things and what we want for our future. So I can 100% say that the ADP experience had a range of activities where we interacted with the company, individuals, and even ourselves and futures.

At ADP (Automatic Data Processing) we started off by doing an icebreaker event. What we had to do was get into groups and come up with a business plan to introduce the public to a new ice cream flavor or pizza topping. Each group had ten minutes to come up with a name, flavor, and motto. Overall it was a fun experience to break the awkward tension of meeting everyone. 

Second what we did was “shop” in a makeshift boutique and get interview clothes for the future or overall if we have an important event to attend.

Another thing we did was get paired up with an individual person of the company for a one on one interview to ask them about their job and the company.
