By the end of the semester, at least two articles have been shared out. This information can be a way to start a staff meeting, by asking teachers to share their insights from one of the articles.

2. Firstly, I need to set aside a regular time slot in the midst of my busy schedule to read. Secondly, is knowing what topic and where to look. I feel that books which focuses more on how the ASD mind works and learns will help in my ASD classroom. 

3. This year, I've yet to get started. However last year, I've read a few articles which have been helpful in structuring the ASD classroom, shared by Ms Esther Low. "The Culture of Autism" and "Structured Teaching"

Reading allows us to keep ourselves updated with evidence-based practices. It stops us from simply using our experiences when making decisions.

2. Setting aside dedicated time to read, however, making the time and having the headspace for it is another consideration. I guess the first step towards overcoming this issue would be if I were to choose a topic that is of interest to me. Probably finding audio books that I can listen to during my travel time can be one way to make time for professional reading.
