Fentanyl can result in death. It kills you by binding with the exorphin-releasing receptors, messing them up. Due to this, the body cannot respond to low levels of oxygen and high levels of carbon dioxide. Which are two things that control your brain - which in hand controls your lungs - which allow you to breathe. This means you will die because your lungs will stop working and you'll die to a lack of oxygen. OD on Fentanyl is common, in fact its so common that it has made Fentanyl the number 1 killing drug. Health problems from overuse of Fentanyl are relevant. The failure of major organs and inability to do basic tasks due to the deterioration of mental health are notable factors. Sudden death can be caused if enough drugs are taken. Behaviors under Fentanyl can result to death, for example driving under the influence of Fentanyl will most likely kill you. One of the symptoms of Fentanyl is nausea and drowsiness.
